For What It’s Worth
Since work began, I guess a lot has been happening. Life has been far more hectic. Early mornings and late nights. I so would have quit if I didn’t like my co-workers so much. They make every minute worth it, and that’s pretty awesome. Upper management can be a bitch once in a while though. They like to act as if they understand what’s going on, and pretend to be all buddy buddy, but really, they have no idea.
I’ve been looking into a new camera. I think I’ve decided on the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 DSC-W90 DSC-W80. It’s gotten pretty great reviews and doesn’t break the bank. I should be able to get a good discount too if I buy it at Wal-Mart. Too bad Sony doesn’t like the SD card format. That’s my only real issue with the camera. I hate Sony Memory Sticks. Also, I hate the name Cyber-shot. It’s such a horrible name for a camera. It’s like Sony didn’t even try to think up something. Then again, I guess Sony doesn’t really ever put much thought into product names.
I re-subscribed to Asheron’s Call. I haven’t played it for some time, and it still reigns as one of my most favorite games of all time. I can’t wait to jump back in. I bought Beatmania and DDR Extreme 2 for the PS2. Beatmania just shipped out today, but it’s not scheduled to arrive until the 18th - I paid for 2 day shipping and ordered the game on Wednesday. It’s taking too long to get to me. I bought a new pouch for my Nintendo DS Lite. I’ve wanted this one for a really long time, but just never got around to getting it. Oddly enough, it’s cheaper online than in-store. I should have bought it online instead.
Samsung finally finished repairing my MP3 player, and it’s supposed to be on it’s way to me. It’s taken a very long time and I’m kinda disappointed in their service. The website doesn’t provide any information as to how my repair is coming along, and the entire process has taken much too long. Though I did get a courtesy call the other morning. A lady called to check if my MP3 player was okay, but I told her that it hadn’t come in yet. She said to give them a call if I had any questions. I liked that. Too bad her timing was horribly off. You’d think they would know when stuff they shipped has reached it’s destination.
Anyway. I’ve spent much money recently, made new friends, been having lots of fun, and really just getting things into order. Some aspects of my life still aren’t where I want them to be, but a lot of stuff has improved. I’m happy… for now.
I’m looking into a reliable hosting service. I loved working with Network Redux, and I think I just might go with them. Next paycheck.
