Tired From Walking
Saturday December 03, 2005

So there is today’s loot. Picked up a number of things, including Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. Everyone at 4cr was telling me how good it was, so I picked it up. That, and Mario Kart DS, should help tide me over until Animal Crossing Wild World (4 days left!). Stopped by my favorite anime store, and picked up a new .hack figure, and some guy from FFVII Advent Children. My Pokemon XD skin also came in today, direct from Nintendo. I’m not going to use it, especially since it actually sticks to the ‘Cube, but it was free so I don’t mind.

I walked aroud a lot today, so I’m pretty tired. I’ll start playing Mario & Luigi tomorrow… maybe, or something. I still need to read the instruction booklet.

Oh god, I saw Monikah today. It was really nostalgic. She looks slightly different, but as soon as I heard her I could completely recognize her. It was so awesome seeing her. I wonder how long she’s going to be in Hawaii…

Anyway, as the title says, I’m tired from walking. I’m gonna go back to chatting, play a little Kart, and then sleep.

Wild World

Picked up Animal Crossing Wild World on Monday. So far, there are few differences between this and the GameCube version, but that’s not a bad thing. The GameCube one rocked, so that can only mean that the portable adaptation must rock as well. And rock it does. One of the animals is supposed to be visiting my house soon…

Ok, I’m sorry. I’m trying to write more, but I’m too busy being focused on Animal Crossing. Maybe I’ll edit this or something later…

Christmas 2005
Sunday December 25, 2005

So only a few moments remain until Christmas day. I can’t believe how fast this year has come and gone. So many great memories I now hold within me.

Some of the best even happening during the last couple of days. I mean, seeing old friends, is just one of the best things I could’ve ever imagined. Simple spending time with Marc is more than I could’ve asked for, and I’m glad he got the chance to come back, if only for a little while.

Anyway, I made sure to wish lots of people a Merry Christmas today, and a Happy Holidays. Of course, forgive me if I’ve forgotten anyone. You know who you are, and you know I always wish you the best. I also have to say Merry Christmas to those over at DS Meet, 4 color rebellion, GameBrink, and Kawaii Kon. The year certainly wouldn’t have been as awesome if it weren’t for all you wonderful communities. Especially to the awesome people I’ve met, Brandon, Mikail, Dallas, JoeFenix, Kammo, and Kreven. So many to list really, but you all are great guys.

Now if only these damn neighbors would quit setting off fireworks…

So today I had one goal: Toys ‘R Us.

I had been reading about this gigantic sale on lots of video games. No, not the crappy selection. Video games that are awesome. Stuff like Call of Duty, Killer 7, Halo, and tons of other games. All for ten bucks. Can you beat that? Free doesn’t count, I’m talking about paying for games.

Pearlridge was relatively packed. Toys ‘R Us was where the action was at though. I wasn’t expecting a line, but there was not 1 long line, but 2. Two long lines that, for the most part, stretched around the building. When the doors were just about open, everyone started clapping. I was almost ready to just forget about my quest for cheap video games, but then I remembered how large the interior of Toys ‘R Us was, and that many more people could fit inside. Anyway, all the people dashed for the video game section. I guess I’m not the only one that reads. Still, I was able to grab the Super Monkey Ball 1/2 bundle, and The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure for $20 bucks. All three games are definitely worth the wait in line. I was amazed at what was on sale though… if only I cared about other games, I would’ve bought them all.

In any case, I got those 3 games, had a Starbucks, and bought a new carrying/protective case for my Nintendo DS. A worthwhile day, and I only spent $30 bucks. I should shop at Toys ‘R Us more often… they have a better selection, and more space than those ‘other’ stores. They are also cheaper than other stores, which amazes me sometimes. The best part is that they aren’t biased toward specific companies. Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft all have equal space.

Anyway, I’ve got some games to play, work to do, and a community to moderate. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

Late night edit; I find myself somewhat more emotional late at night. It might be because of the people that I talk with during the late hours, or the silence that sweeps over the night sky. Still, I’m happier now than I have ever been, and I always think it’s weird that I can say such things when not too long ago I was on the verge of suicide. There have been a few people who have kept these late nights warm and comfortable, but there is only one who can just always make me smile and laugh. We’re so far from each other, yet I always feel so close. I just want to thank that person, for everything. Life just wouldn’t be what it is without you.
